Artie Flexs has established himself in 2011 as a Deep House Ambassabor , and for our last release of the year he was a perfect choice . Those familiar with the kind of output Artie introduces will not be disappointed here . Shuffling percussive drums , smoothly filtered vocals and subtle techno elements , once again aim to evolve into a real deep anthem. Abstract Theory's boss Francesco Bonora works around with mind-wiping mid-range chords in his bass addictive remix which intensifies as it develops and Montreal 's duo Ezlv use a very refined production palette to complete the package . Bouquet is the first single from Tel Aviv's Shamique and Stephan Bazbaz , who are both regular contributors on Asymmetric Recordings and are extremely versatile and sophisticated producers and djs . Hungarian dj/producer Lank (Boz Boz, microCastle, Proton Music, Armada ) is on the remixing duties here and he is being simple and very effective, providing us with an amazing cut .
The original version of Bouquet is a beauty that flows with supreme ease . It is melodic and delicate , organically building the intensity while preserving experimental , atmospheric and dreamy feeling .
Lank has prepared a more techno inspired remix, full of detuned elements , abstract synth sounds and a heavy bottom-end percussion-led hypnotic groove .

Deepando is the latest project from Dj Manzi ( ManziMusic ). We introduce it now on Asymmetric accompanied with a remix from Tanzlife, of whom we can say that he already earned the reputation of a constant innovator .

Following Asymmetric's essential releases of the summer , here comes the long awaited collaboration from Felipe L & Ze Chezz . 'Look Up' has a characteristic atmospheric sound accompanied by loungy attitude and mood for which this Mediterranean duo has became well known due to their productions for Energie , Perception , Epoque , Glideslope , just to name a few . The dub mix is a stripped version , with pronounced deep elements . It successfully merges modern synthesizer sounds with a cutting-edge textures and effects , solidified in a very individual style .
Dubman F aka ANGEL PIÑA whose streamlined production values are always high in demand by many quality labels , delivers a top notch interpretation of the original title which is a fusion of deep electronic sounds and most dynamic tech-house . Bay area based, Papouban takes Felipe L's & Ze Chezz's dreamy track to a more heady, subdued space with its low-end driven, repetitive motion. Filtered accents and congas fill the track with color while the sliced up minimalistic vocal loop gives the other elements a pulse to dance around. Tired is a swinging and infectiously soulful roller . After a highly acclaimed debut ep on Asymmetric Recordings last year , we introduce Midav's next in-line - Roua . Backed up by the Asymmetric 's man-in-charge Lonya and the relentless Pysh it is an entirely in-house package which the label's audience will definitely connect to and appreciate.

Artie Flexs 's journey in the dj world began in 2002 when he graduated from dj school in his hometown of Riga , Latvia . Slowly he started to gain experience both at the decks and in the studio , and his production skills were noticed by such labels as Lost My Dog , HiFi Stories , Spring Tube and many more . Now with his first appearance on Asymmetric Recordings , which we strongly believe will be the first out of many , he proves once again that he is a guy that should be taken very seriously .

Ezekiel and Louis Vee met in 2005; the idea of a DJ duo started to grow. Ezekiel started to mix in Montreal raves at the end of the 1990s at 15 years old. During this period, Louis Vee was building a solid knowledge base in electronic music while learning music production. The partnership benefited both quickly as they learn from one another. It is in 2007 that the duo was formed, when Ezekiel and Louis Vee decided to become one: Ezlv.

There is no need to introduce Mikita - his excellent works of the past two years haven't passed unnoticed and had been charted and played by djs such as Carl Cox , Dj Chus , Ramon Tapia , just to name the few. His latest releases and remixes on Ponton , Monique Musique , Conya and Carry On created lots of buzz around him and now his remix for Pysh's Funkaholic which came out here on Asymmetric Recordings few months back is nominated for the best Polish House track of 2011 .
In 'You Know I Know' Mikita continues to evolve his signature sound , plays around with techy chords , vocal snippets , funky bass lines and his long lasting breakdowns explode all the way as usual .

Marcos Valiente 's work caught our attention right from the start . He is a newcomer from Madrid , working hard on his productions and experimenting with various techniques , shaping new sounds influenced by the notorious Iberian clubs.
The Seventh Gate (La Caleta mix) first appeared on our Collaboration VA ep earlier this year , and since then we were preparing the full release of the title which intends to present the versatility and open-mindedness of this producer . Judge for yourself , but all three versions provided here have a unique feeling and groove .

From his hometown of Toronto, Canada, Andrew McDonnell has spent most of the last decade earning a reputation as an open-minded, forward-thinking DJ with a positive attitude and a penchant for delivering the goods. Andrew is both a qualified audio engineer working in broadcast television and a studio workhorse dedicated to producing grooves for the underground. As a DJ, Andrew supplies a unique, groove-driven sound that touches the better parts of house, techno and progressive.
